WHO WE ARE:  Hallmark’s Talent Management and Development group is a department within Human Resources that focuses on enhancing Hallmark’s capabilities to be healthy and competitive in the marketplace. The work of this department includes setting the strategies for talent management and development across Hallmark including learning and development, leadership development performance management, succession management, engagement and workforce planning.  We design and deliver learning and development at the team, individual, manager and leadership levels and work with a wide variety of individuals across the enterprise to directly impact business outcomes by increasing leader effectiveness and individual performance.  We are looking for an HR Systems Administration and Analytics Specialist to join our headquarters team.


  • Excellent skills in analytics, systems and technology – this position will work with and in systems and data on a daily basis. Being comfortable and at ease in systems and data is critical to success. The ideal candidate has experience in workforce analytics and/or system administration for a large company and a passion around analytics.

BEING the corporate point of contact for our online learning and performance management system, this includes:

  • Managing the design and ongoing functionality of the system
  • Administering the online learning available on the site
  • Administering the annual online performance management process
  • Managing the ongoing vendor relationship
  • Answering employee questions
  • Partnering with others in HR to improve and update the functionality of the system

SUPPORTING the HR talent analytics function by providing talent data and analytics to support both HR and business areas

  • Publishing data for monthly and ad-hoc talent and workforce reports
  • Partnering with our Talent Analytics consultant to develop customized analytics for a variety of business needs
  • Analyzing and reporting on succession, performance, workforce and organizational trends and results 

PARTNERING with team members in the Talent Management and Development team and also working with others across the HR division and the business in delivering results

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:  The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years professional work experience
  • 1+ year professional systems administration or analytics experience
  • 1+ years’ experience in human resources OR a degree with a major in human resourcesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Your application will stand out if you have:

  • Informing, communicating and influencing of HR client groups, line managers/partners, recruiting and the payroll department on a daily basis
  • Supporting clients and compensation team with ad hoc analysis to inform pay decisions, identifying trends and reviewing various levels of compensation costs or financial impact
  • Developing and administering salary package recommendations for employee moves by following established guidelines
  • Performing daily, weekly, and bi-monthly audits to ensure accuracy in employee pay
  • Providing analytical support to the Department, HR Managers and Line Managers by analyzing compensation data and trends – primary focus in PT Field employees in the Mass Service Organization
  • Identifying patterns and communicating with team and business partners to tell the story supported by the data
  • Providing support for the various merit processes within Hallmark structures
  • Owning and managing the process to comply with minimum wage increases across the country; working closely with legal, payroll and supervisors
  • Completing 8 – 10 annual market data surveys on behalf of Hallmark in which extreme accuracy is needed
  • Providing monthly data to support the market database
