HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Husqvarna

POSITION SUMMARY:  

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will direct the planning and implementation of policies, practices, and initiatives related to talent and performance management, employee relations, training and development, and employee engagement for the designated business units. This position is critical to build and protect the confidence of the HR function. The HRBP will support and partner with leadership while collaborating on solutions for the business, people and organizational issues to support the long-term achievement of the overall business plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HRBP (65%)

  • Function as key HR strategic business partner to develop and execute critical business and organizational development strategies
  • Maintain a depth of understanding of the business through involvement with key business processes, objectives, and results while providing alternative insights and options
  • Facilitate professional development and continuous learning by partnering with the business in the creation, improvement, and implementation of training programs and materials
  • Partnering with leadership to provide support and analysis in order to drive results in Talent Management processes
  • Cultivate and drive a positive work environment, including a focus on employee engagement and inclusivity by communicating and reinforcing clear expectations of the culture of accountability
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leadership on implementation of changes with the business area
  • Coach and advise leadership on employee matters through expert knowledge
  • Collaborate within the HR function to create and maintain solutions and efficiencies
  • Coordinate within HR department to review, develop, and implement strategies to continue recruitment of top talent and onboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance to HR practices, and adherence to applicable regulatory requirements at the federal and state levels, while assuring alignment with people and business strategies

Learning & Development (35%)

  • Coordinate and assess internal training and development initiatives that support the company goals and objectives, including identified division-specific initiatives
  • Develop and implement recommended training policies/procedures
  • Partner with the business and subject matter experts in the creation, implementation, and improvement of training programs/materials
  • Coordinate the collection, interpretation, and communication of relevant statistics

  • Strong knowledge of core areas of Human Resources (talent management, comp/bene, employee relations, recruitment, leadership development, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of HR employment laws and processes
  • Strong knowledge of Safety/Workers Compensation
  • Working knowledge of HCP business dynamics

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, 2-3 years HRBP Experience plus 2-3 years HR Generalist experience in sales/manufacturing environment
